Why is an instance not displayed in the VERA server configuration?

When the VERA server configuration is not started with the appropriate authorization, no VERA server instances are displayed in the start window as can be seen in the case that you have described.

In Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (and above), Microsoft Windows 7 or Vista, the VERA server configuration needs to be started in the context menu in administrator mode. The server instances are then displayed, or at least the standard instance with the entry "(default)".
